Our CS-IRTG program aims to train the next generation of global researchers and doctors in the dynamic fields of basic and translational pathology and oncology.
This certificate confirms your part in the CS-IRTG program and can be used worldwide for research and academic opportunities.
The CS-IRTG program invites PhD candidates for advanced research in molecular biomedicine and lung cancer.
The Cologne-Seoul International Research Training Group (CS-IRTG) is jointly supported by the University of Cologne (UoC) in Germany and the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Seoul, South Korea. A core group of project leaders performs research for better diagnostics and therapies directed towards difficult and therapy-resistant lung cancer genotypes. These projects involve wet-lab sciences for Molecular Pathology, Molecular Genetics and Molecular Oncology, as well as data-driven sciences and development of artificial intelligence algorithms.
The CS-IRTG is open for master students in natural sciences, IT sciences and for medical students, who aim to receive a PhD or MD/PhD degree in the Interdisciplinary Program Molecular Medicine (IPMM) or Interdisciplinary Program Health Sciences (IPHS) programs at UoC or in Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology (SAIHST) at SKKU.
